Yet another difference...

...between a boy and a girl. I know for sure I never would've had this conversation with Addie at 2 1/2 (or any age, for that matter :)).

Landon: "Mommy, look! A little gold leaf!" [If you want the full effect, it was, "Mommy, yook! A yittle gold weaf!" :)]

Me, as I'm taking the 'leaf' from him: "Cool buddy! Thanks!"

Landon: "I'm just kidding Mommy - that was a booger!"
